Tarik Muharemovic and Leeds United are preparing for one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of their Premier League season, with Manchester United set to visit Elland Road.
The game will be played on Sunday, October 18, with kick-off at 2:00pm UK time, which is 15:00 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A different kind of challenge for Muharemovic
After a narrow 2-1 defeat away to reigning champions Arsenal, Leeds now turn their attention to a fixture carrying a very different kind of pressure.
Manchester United's visit to Elland Road is one of the standout dates on the Leeds calendar, and the atmosphere is expected to reflect the long-standing rivalry between the two clubs.
Muharemovic started at the Emirates and once again featured at the heart of Daniel Farke's defence. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has quickly become an important part of the team since his summer move from Sassuolo.
Leeds showed plenty despite Arsenal defeat
Leeds' unbeaten Premier League start came to an end against Arsenal, but the performance offered plenty of encouragement. The Whites took the lead through James Justin before the champions turned the game around in the second half.
Muharemovic completed another demanding Premier League assignment, and his next test will come in a match that carries extra significance for supporters on both sides.
Manchester United arrive at Elland Road
The meeting is Leeds' seventh Premier League fixture of the campaign and the first competitive clash between the rivals this season.
The two clubs already met during pre-season at Croke Park in Dublin, but the next encounter will be completely different: league points, a packed Elland Road and one of English football's most intense rivalries.
Another major chapter in Muharemovic's first Leeds season
Muharemovic's first months in England have already included matches against several of the Premier League's biggest clubs. A home meeting with Manchester United now offers another opportunity to strengthen his growing reputation.
His progress at Elland Road can be followed on the Tarik Muharemovic Leeds United career page, while his latest club and international numbers are available in the statistics section.
