Tarik Muharemovic has needed very little time to make his mark at Leeds United, with the Bosnia and Herzegovina international already producing numbers that stand out historically for a centre-back at the club.
After just nine appearances, Muharemovic has already recorded three goal contributions — one goal and two assists.
A remarkable start at Leeds
According to the statistic highlighted after his latest appearance, no Leeds United centre-back has managed more goal contributions in their first nine appearances since records began in the 1989/90 season.
For a player whose primary responsibility is in defence, those numbers underline how quickly Muharemovic has become influential at both ends of the pitch.

The numbers add another interesting layer to his first months in English football, particularly because they have come from a central defensive position.
More than just defending
Muharemovic has quickly shown that he can contribute beyond his defensive work. His ability to attack set pieces, play forward and create danger in the final third has already produced a tangible return for Leeds.
