Tarik Muharemović scored as Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Romania 4-2 in Bucharest, completing an impressive away victory in the UEFA Nations League.
The Leeds United defender started for Sergej Barbarez's side and made his mark in the 19th minute, scoring Bosnia and Herzegovina's second goal of the night.

Bosnia and Herzegovina made an excellent start at the National Arena. Armin Gigović opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Muharemović doubled the advantage only seven minutes later.
Romania responded through Daniel Bîrligea in the 28th minute, but the visitors restored their two-goal cushion before half-time when Haris Tabaković made it 3-1 in the 40th minute.
The strong Bosnian performance continued after the break. Ermin Mahmić scored in the 55th minute to extend the lead to 4-1.
Alexandru Cicâldău pulled one back for Romania in the 62nd minute, but Bosnia and Herzegovina remained in control and saw out the match to secure a 4-2 victory.
Muharemović makes his mark in Bucharest
Muharemović started in the Bosnia and Herzegovina defence alongside Nikola Katić, with Sead Kolašinac wearing the captain's armband.
His goal made it an especially memorable night for the 23-year-old defender, who continues to take on an increasingly important role for the national team.
Muharemović has also enjoyed an important start to life at Leeds United, and his performances for club and country continue to highlight the qualities described in his playing style.
Four goals and three points for Bosnia and Herzegovina
After a goalless draw against Poland in Warsaw in the opening round, Bosnia and Herzegovina responded with a much more clinical attacking display in Bucharest.
The 4-2 victory gives Barbarez's team an important result early in the Nations League campaign, while Muharemović leaves Romania with a goal and another significant international appearance behind him.
